A NEIGHBOR IN NEED:
HOW TO HELP THE HOMELESS
Saturday, November 11th, 1-5pm
@ Illumine Church, 1262 Riverchase Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29732
Free for all, hosted by Illumine
It is estimated that as many as 400 people in Rock Hill are homeless, some staying in shelters, some staying in the woods or abandoned buildings. While that seems like a very small number compared to the ~70,000 homeless in New York City, it's far too many, and the size of the problem doesn't determine the severity of it. Each person who sleeps in a home on a mattress at night has an opportunity to consider how they can help and serve their fellow citizens. We're going to examine that opportunity at this seminar. By partnering with and giving voice to those organizations that are on the front lines of helping the homeless in Rock Hill, this seminar will equip everyday people like you to make a real difference for those in need.
