From God's perspective, nothing can contain him.

From a human perspective, though, we have no choice but to try to make God manageable. We divide him up into doctrines and teachings, experiences and opinions, organize him, and keep that knowledge in our minds.

This isn't bad, but it can be abused. While we need the box so we can understand God, we sometimes use the box to put God aside when we don't want him.
