The name is crazy. Here's the point:

God wants each of us to grow and progress. He gave us incredible minds and bodies and spirits and began processes that expand them - but he doesn't control us like puppets. We have the opportunity to invest in the gifts he has given us. This January, in a course called Yearbuilding, we're going to look at the other 11 months of 2017 and see how we can use them to grow. 

But it's more than just the whole month. On January 1st, we're going to have a special, open house event that runs from 10am-3pm. There will be 4 stations set up at the Center (that include opportunities for kids.) These stations are designed to help you create the resource by which you are going to plan out your spiritual growth for 2017. Each station will take approximately 15 minutes - which, multiplied by 4, makes an hour. 

For the rest of the week, you'll get to think more about the work you did as you anticipate the work we'll do together for the remaining Sundays of January, planning our years to be the kind of years during which we took advantage of God's gracious opportunities to grow in his word. That hour of that week in this month is important for your year. We really hope you can make it.
