Keep Christmas In Christ

Christ is the one essential aspect of Christmas, and therefore you can’t actually take Christ out of Christmas. If you did, you wouldn’t have Christmas anymore. Because of this, it is vital that we keep the energy we spend on this season pointed in the right direction – toward the birth of Christ.

Christ’s love and his mercy are well worth celebrating, and peace, joy, and hope are easy to connect to his coming. These and other usual parts of the Christmas season are not at all bad, but they are best when they point to Jesus.
