Nexus

First, what is a “nexus?” According to Dictonary.com, a nexus is: (1) a means of connection; tie; link. (2) a connected series or group; (3) the core or center, as of a matter or situation. As we look at the Bible, there are a number of connections that we can make that help us not only better understand it, but more clearly see Christ as the core and center and how God through Moses pointed the people to their coming Savior.

Christ is the centerpiece of history. Everything that happened pointed to him, and everything that has happened since has been because of him. All of the plans and intentions that God had in creating the universe meet all of the hopes and futures that humanity lives for in his cross.
