Replaced

“You’ve been replaced” is not exactly music to the ears, whether it comes from an employer, a significant other, a coach, or…pretty much anyone else. But when God says it: it’s the best of news. 

Because we’ve been replaced by Jesus. Our guilt, replaced by his perfection. Our battles and struggles, replaced by his victory. This time, “You’ve been replaced” is good news! And in this series, as we walk towards Jesus’ death and resurrection, we’re going to hold this good news up to the light and examine its sparkling facets, like a newly engaged woman marveling at the gleam of her diamond.
