We often look for lack. We identify what's missing more quickly than we identify what is near. Throughout this series, though, we'll be identifying and thinking deeply about everything that surrounds us - and how it is a gift from God with an important purpose.

Everything is given. Nothing is earned, nothing is taken, nothing is simply there. When we identify God's providence in all things, our perspectives begin to change. Hopefully, we become more content, more generous, and more grateful for the many ways God has provided, even when we feel want.
