THE SUMMER OF OUR DISCONTENT

Summer is good. In fact, in a lot of ways, summer is great. There's a good chance that during summer you can rest, you can catch up, you can fit in at least a little bit of relaxation. There's a catch, though. Rest and relaxation - as good as they are - have to have a purpose, or they lead to discontentment. If you've ever heard a kid complain about being bored in summertime, you know what we're talking about in this series. How can we, as we are given chances to rest (be it physical, spiritual, or mental) use that rest in the way God intended? God makes clear, exciting promises about what rest can do for us. Let's dig into them in this series.
