Church in a Theater? Not so surprising?

Maybe this isn't as surprising as it might have been 15 years ago. There are lots of churches meeting in buildings that aren't your typical church building.

It's a great idea. The Church is not a place and it's not about getting more land or higher steeples or bigger sanctuaries. It's about people getting together around the truth that God loves his people, and that through Jesus he brought them to him.

At the same time, there's nothing wrong with a church having land or a building - the point is that we use whatever space we have as well as we can, maximizing the ministry potential of every inch God gives us.

So, let's get involved in that kind of ministry... wherever and whenever we can. (Of course, we'd love for one part of the ministry you get involved with to be at the Regal Manchester Cinema 14, 1935 Cinema Drive, Rock Hill, on Sundays at 10am beginning April 13th. We think it's a good option.)
