Tillie @ Worship Conference: Post #4

Day 5:

Monday morning Casey was a very good host and humored my antiquing family in downtown Watertown. Most of the shops were closed, unfortunately. We ate at PJ's pizza for lunch where we each got a 12" sub to split between two meals. Delish!! We then piled back in the SUV to drive the couple of hours to the Country Inn & Suites in Kenosha which is about 20 minutes away from the conference. Mom and I scoped out the hot tub as we normally do, and got all checked in to the hotel so that we could drive over to Carthage College to get registered early for the conference. The campus is beautiful and right on Lake Michigan! We sat on the concrete beach for a bit and admired our nice big conference bags and water bottles that came free with registration. I ran into my college friend Peter Buschkopf and got caught up with him a little bit! It's always good to see an old friend! We checked out the classroom where my dad will be giving his presentation and then it was time to head back to the hotel for the other half of our subs, hot tubbing, and Ticket to Ride. We went to bed with visions of Cracker Barrel (our view from the hotel room) in our heads.
